Studio Living Room is a home-based photography studio in Coquitlam, BC — because some of the best work happens in the most comfortable spaces.
We work with families, professionals, and expecting parents across Metro Vancouver. And yes — clients have flown in from across the country and beyond specifically for a session, which we take as a reasonable sign we’re doing something right.
The philosophy
The best photographs feel effortless. They don’t announce themselves — they simply exist, and every time you look at them, you’re quietly transported back to that exact moment. Getting there takes preparation, patience, and knowing precisely when not to say anything and just press the shutter.
What this means for you
You don’t need to be camera-ready. You don’t need a “good side.” You don’t need to have rehearsed a smile in the mirror that morning. You just need to show up — we’ll handle everything else, including gently talking your toddler into cooperating (results may vary).
